Commissioned by graduating Fashion Design students at Lasalle College, this piece is an entirely reimagined surrealist approach to a plain photograph. The garments designed featured very futuristic elements and an angular silhouette, which inspired the robotic character we created. The character is an amalgamation of luxury and technology, placed within a space-y environment inspired by old Sci-Fi movies. As part of the end of year fashion show, which took place online due to temporary remote learning, a fast-forwarded recording of the entire design process was presented, and can be viewed below.
